What Happens When You Call
No guessing who's coming, when, or what it costs. Here's the whole sequence.
- 1You call or text. A real person on our team answers — not a call center. You get the flat price and a real ETA for your address before anyone is dispatched.
- 2Your tech is dispatched. You get a text with their name and photo, so you know exactly who's coming. Our own technician — never a subcontractor.
- 3A second text. When your tech is about 10 minutes away, you hear from us again.
- 4At your door. A uniformed tech in a marked vehicle checks your ID and proof you live there, then starts with non-destructive entry.
- 5You're back inside. You pay after the job — cash, credit/debit, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Someone Inside? Call 911 First.
If a child, a pet or a vulnerable person is locked inside — or something is running on the stove — call 911 before you call a locksmith. On a triple-digit Arizona afternoon a closed-up house with the AC off heats up quickly, and the fire department is built for exactly this. Call them first and us second.
- 🚶Walk the perimeter. Back door, patio slider, the garage keypad — and text anyone who has a spare.
- 🚫Don't climb in through a window or pry the door. A broken pane or a split frame usually costs far more than the lockout — and a cut arm is worse.
- 🌳Wait somewhere shaded, and keep your phone handy for our texts.
Picks and Entry Tools Before Anything Else
Getting you inside is half the job. Leaving your door, frame and lock the way we found them is the other half.

We start with picks or an entry tool that works the latch or the bolt without marking the finish. Your lock keeps working with your own key afterwards.
Knob, lever or deadbolt
A deadbolt takes a little longer than a spring latch, but it's routine work, and the flat price doesn't change because of it: $159 by day, $219 after 8PM, whatever is on the door.
When a lock genuinely has to be drilled. A few locks do — usually a high-security cylinder built to resist picking, or one too worn to cooperate. Then we drill the cylinder core only and replace it, so your main lock stays original. Your tech explains why and prices it before touching anything, and you decide how to proceed.
Lost the Keys, Not Just Locked Out?
Getting back inside solves tonight. But lost or stolen keys still open your door, especially if they went missing with anything that shows your address. A rekey changes the pins inside your existing locks so the old keys stop working, without replacing the hardware.
Mention it on the call and we'll quote the rekey along with the lockout.

Apartments, Rentals & HOA Communities
Same flat price as a house, plus a few things worth knowing before you call.
Try the leasing office first
If the office or your landlord is open, call them before us — many keep a spare and can let you in at no cost. After hours, try the emergency maintenance line. If nobody answers, call us.
ID and proof you live there
Before we open any door we ask for a photo ID and something tying you to the address — a lease, a utility bill or mail with your name on it. That check protects you: it's what keeps anyone else from being let into your home.
Renting? The owner decides the rest
We'll open the door for a verified resident, but we won't rekey or change the locks on a rental without the owner's go-ahead. Many leases also put the cost of a lockout on the tenant, so it's worth a quick look.
Gated community or HOA?
Tell us on the call how the tech gets past the gate — a gate code or a call box — so nothing holds them up at the entrance.
