Deadbolt Replacement

Schlage B60N Deadbolt
A name-brand Schlage deadbolt, supplied and installed. A known quantity for the main entry of a home.
High-Security Grade 1
Grade 1 hardware, supplied and installed, for the door that worries you most: a business entrance, a rental with turnover, a door hidden from the street.
Lock Repair
A sticking cylinder, a bolt that stops short, a door you have to lift to lock. Often an adjustment, not a new lock.
Rekey Instead
+$49 each additional door; a typical 3-door home is $247. Old keys stop working and your hardware stays.
Flat price, quoted before we dispatch. Tell us the door and the lock you want, and we quote the installation on the call. The technician can't change it at the door for the job we agreed. "From" is where each job starts; your exact price depends on your door and the hardware you pick. Lock repairs are priced before any work begins. After 8PM, add $60 to any service. You Might Not Need a New Lock
Three fixes solve three different problems, at three different prices. If a rekey or a repair solves it, we say so before quoting a new lock.
Rekey
The lock works fine, but old keys are out there. You just moved in, lost a key, or a roommate or tenant moved out. We change the pins inside the lock you already have: every old key stops working, you get new ones, and your hardware stays on the door. A typical 3-door home is $247.
Repair
It sticks, turns rough, or the bolt stops short. If you have to lift, push or pull the door before the key will turn, the lock itself is usually fine. The door or the strike has shifted, which Arizona sun and seasonal movement do to doors. Realigning the strike or servicing a gritty cylinder is often all it takes, and we'll tell you so before quoting a new lock.
Replace
It's worn out or damaged, or you want better. Replace when the hardware is broken or tired, when you want a stronger lock like a high-security Grade 1 deadbolt, when you want a new style or finish, or when your doors use different brands that can't share one key.

One Flat Price, the Whole Job
An all-in installation covers the lock, the trip and the work, quoted on the call before we dispatch. Here's what that means on your door.
The Lock
A new deadbolt we supply: a Schlage B60N, a high-security Grade 1, or another option from brands like Kwikset and Yale, quoted on the call.
The Trip
Dispatch and travel are included, so the price you're quoted covers getting a technician to your door.
Fitted & Adjusted
Old lock off, new lock on, and the strike fitted and adjusted so the bolt extends fully and the door closes smoothly.
Tested Before We Go
We lock and unlock it with the door closed, from both sides, before we call it done.
One Key for Every Door
New locks can usually be keyed alike to your other doors, as long as they share a keyway (typically the same brand). Ask on the call and it goes into your quote.
30-Day Warranty
On the lock we supply and install. Parts may also carry the manufacturer's own warranty.
Bringing your own lock?
Labor-only installation starts at $149. Text us a photo of the lock and the edge of your door first: if the hardware doesn't match how your door is drilled, you'll hear it before we start, not after.
If the door needs more than a lock
A split jamb or a door that has sagged can need more than a new lock. If we find something like that, you hear what it is and what it costs before any extra work. If a frame is rotted or badly out of square, we'll tell you it's a job for a carpenter. Want the strike reinforced with longer screws while we're there? Ask on the call and we'll quote it before we dispatch.
Grade 1, 2 or 3, in Plain Words
The grade on the box comes from lab testing for durability and resistance to force, and Grade 1 is the strongest. Here's what that means on a real door.
Grade 3
It locks, and it keeps an honest person out, but it's the lightest-duty of the three. Fine on an interior or low-risk door; short of what the main lock on an outside door should be.
Grade 2
A real step up in materials and tolerances without commercial pricing. For a typical Phoenix-metro front door, a solid Grade 2 deadbolt with a well-fitted strike is the honest answer.
Grade 1
Built for doors that get used all day. Worth it on a business door, a rental with tenant turnover, a door hidden from the street, or an entry that has already been tried.
What the box won't tell you: on most homes the weak point isn't the deadbolt. It's the strike plate and short screws in a soft jamb, so a good lock in a sound frame does more than a premium lock in a split one. The full breakdown is in our deadbolt grades guide.
Business Doors & Our Warranty
Small Business Doors
The same lock change, deadbolt installation and lock repair for offices, retail and other small-business doors. Master key systems, panic bars and access control live on our commercial locksmith page.
Installation projects are limited to under $1,000 total — for anything larger, we'll tell you on the phone.
30-Day Warranty
Locks we supply and install carry a 30-day warranty. If one fails in the first 30 days because of our workmanship or the part we supplied, call us and we come back and fix it at no charge.
It doesn't cover hardware you supplied yourself, misuse, forced entry or normal wear. Parts may also carry the manufacturer's own warranty.

Our own uniformed technician, never a subcontractor, arrives in a marked vehicle, fits the lock, adjusts the strike and tests it with you.
Pay After
You pay once the job is done: cash, credit/debit, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
